Biomedical Engineering Affecting my Life

Biomedical engineering plays a essential role in society, by giving the technology, medication, and modifications to keep people in good health. Every couple of months, I visit the hospital for a medical checkup. When I am in the hospital, I see medical machinery everywhere that are carrying out their function on different patients. For instance, the infamous X-ray machine would take images of bones to give doctors to analyze and heal those wounds if found.

During these moments, I wonder, “Who made that machine and what would happen without that machine?”. In addition, I see doctors running about and researching on blood and urine samples. Thats when I see, that biomedical engineering could be the answer for what I want to do in the future.

Biomedical engineering ranges from creating medical machinery to genetic engineering. I want to be the person that provides the solutions and tools for doctors to help them heal their patients. I want to use my creativity and my scientific thoughts to create those solutions and tools. Not only that, I am willing to give all my effort to this career, because that is my dream, and I want to achieve it.
